Our Client, a Sydney-based miner exploring for Gold-Silver and Base Metals in Indonesia’s richly endowed Banda Magmatic Arc, has a vacancy for

SENIOR EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST

The role will be offered on a FIFO arrangement out of Jakarta, on 6 weeks on 2 weeks off roster. The primary purpose of this position will be to conduct exploration activities and assist in generating quality projects.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Plan detailed exploration of the Company’s concessions
• Identify outcrops
• Calculate reserve estimation from borehole data
• Plan borehole drilling patterns

Qualifications & Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Geology
• Minimum of 5 – 10 years experience in gold and Base Metals
• GPS experience
• Geological software experience such as Vulcan, Surpac or MapInfo
• Team player, adventurous
• Offshore experience required
